One of our ministry distinctives at Boulder Street Church is rebuilding continuous prayer and worship in the spirit of the Tent of David:
“After these things I will return,
And I will rebuild the Tabernacle of David which has fallen,
And I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will restore it,
So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the Lord, who makes these things known from long ago.”
Acts 15:16-18 (NASB)
Prayer is foundational to everything we do. Communing with God in worship and intercession is the greatest force we have in furthering the Kingdom of God in our lives, families, church, city, and individual spheres of influence.
Here is a sampling of prayer opportunities. Please visit the Events page for specific details.
RESTore; our version of restoring the Tent of King David. We are creating a space for Father and His people to rest through worship, intimacy, and praise, and then to rule through intercessory agreement. We are building this initiative around Acts 15:16-17: "'...I will return to you and raise up the tabernacle [Tent] of David that has fallen into ruin. I will restore and rebuild what David experienced so that all of humanity will be able to encounter the Lord including the Gentiles whom I have called to be my very own' says the Lord" (Acts 15:16-17 TPT). The sanctuary is open from 7-9 am Monday through Friday for regular weekly times of hosting His presence. If you are interested in linking with a community to establish an atmosphere of worship, prayer, and praise in our city, this is your opportunity! Contact Virgil Alire at for more information.
City-Prayer; a monthly gathering of praying believers from various churches. Led by Joseph Winger (BSC), Jack and Terri Brown (The Table), Joshua Shephard (Revolution Church), Mary Ann Robertson (High Place Ministries), and Rachel Zhou (New Life Chinese Church).
Praise Mountain Prayer & Fasting Retreats; several times a year, groups go to Praise Mountain, a prayer and fasting retreat center in the mountains near Lake George, for 24 hours of intimacy with the Lord and intercession for one another. The cost is $20 per person (suggested donation).
