Our vision is to become a Spirit-filled community after

God’s heart, following His leading above all.

Our hope is to be the best lovers of God possible.  We pursue this dream by cooperating with the Holy Spirit’s work to fashion within our hearts five unique traits of King David:

  • Going after God’s heart (Acts 13:22)

  • Obeying God’s desires (Acts 13:22)

  • Hosting God’s presence (Acts 7:46)

  • Serving God’s purposes in our generation (Acts 13:36)

  • Fighting God’s spiritual battles as He directs (I Samuel 25:28)

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved” (Acts 2:42-47 ESV).

This description of the Early Church from the book of Acts serves as a model of God’s dream for His Church. We long to become the kind of church that God has in mind—a community marked by power and love.  We see that the early Church community was so vibrant and authentic that it actually became a vehicle of witnessing the Good News of Jesus to others—a transformed people becoming tools in the Lord’s hands to transform society.  Our goal is to be a church that sees people saved, healed and delivered; develops healthy leaders; builds strong families; and furthers His purposes, first in our city/county, and then even into the remote regions of the earth.

Our Five Ministry Distinctives:

  1. We are restoring continuous prayer/worship in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David (Acts 15:16-18).

  2. We embrace the model of 5-Fold Ministry, which matures, heals and equips believers of all ages to step into their destinies and ministries in the church, their homes, and their spheres of influence (Ephesians 4:11-13).

  3. We take on specific, Spirit-led assignments for our city and county—evangelism/ prayer/service (Acts 13:2-4).

  4. We seek to plant a chain of churches in our region with hearts for authentic community (Acts 16:5).

  5. We are relationally connected with international ministers and empowered with gifts of the Holy Spirit for reaching the lost globally (Mark 16:15-20).
